Poolcast

Find the yards that want a pool — and show the owner what it looks like.

Run an address

Poolcast pulls the property's aerial, reads the back yard, models the sun that falls on it, checks what the summer actually did, and generates a picture of that yard with a pool in it. Then it prints the postcard.

How this works as a business

  1. Start with sold homes. New owners renovate. A list of everything sold in a metro in the last 12 months is the input.
  2. Throw most of them away. The aerial read costs about $0.0005 and rejects every property that already has a pool, has no yard, or can't get an excavator to the back. Only survivors cost real money.
  3. Make it about their house. Their roof, their trees, their sun, last summer's temperatures on their street — and a pool sitting in their own yard.
  4. Put it in the mail. The QR goes to a report page that books the site visit.

One closed pool is worth $60k–$95k. At roughly 7¢ of model spend plus postage per qualified card, the arithmetic is not subtle.
